ServicesLight Jet Charter
Light Jet Charter in Martinsville
A light jet moves a small group at jet speed on trips of roughly one to three and a half hours, and it can use shorter regional runways. One person on our side builds your quote, books the aircraft and stays with your trip until you land.

When to choose a light jet
A light jet carries four to seven passengers. Models such as the Citation CJ3 and Phenom 300 belong here, with two engines, a pressurized cabin and a cruise speed well past what a turboprop manages. They suit a same-day client visit, a family weekend trip, or a group of managers stopping at two sites in one afternoon.
What you give up is room. Few light jet cabins let you stand, the baggage holds are small, and range generally ends somewhere near 1,500 to 2,000 nautical miles based on load and winds. For a bigger group or a coast-to-coast trip, we will say so and quote a midsize or super-midsize jet in its place.
One person answers your first question and is still your contact when you reach the FBO. They know your headcount, your luggage and your schedule, so no detail falls through a gap between sales and operations.
What comes with your light jet charter
- A jet sized to your passengers and bags
- Before we quote, we compare seats, baggage space and runway length with your trip. A golf bag, or two big suitcases each, can decide which light jet will work.
- One all-inclusive number
- Flight time, positioning, taxes and fees come together in a single figure. With point to point pricing a one-way flight is priced one way, and you never pay round trip pricing for travel in only one direction.
- Crew and FBO arrangements
- We confirm the operator, the crew and the FBO on both ends, covering parking, timing for ground transport and catering if you'd like it.
- Pets and WiFi
- Pets are allowed, and WiFi equipped aircraft are available. Let us know how big your pet is and whether you need to stay online, and we plan the booking around both.
- Nothing to sign up for
- You won't find prepaid programs, yearly fees or long term commitments. Charter when a trip comes up and pay for that flight alone.
Signs a light jet fits your trip
Your group is seven or fewer
Light jets are built for small groups. Past seven people, or with heavy bags, a midsize jet usually makes more sense.
The flight is under four hours
Most light jets fly nonstop for about three to three and a half hours with a reasonable load. That covers much of the eastern half of the country from central Indiana.
You need a smaller airport
Many light jets operate from runways around 4,000 feet, which opens up regional fields closer to where you actually need to be.
The turboprop is too slow
On legs over about 500 miles, a jet's higher cruise speed and altitude save real time and put you above more of the weather.
Timing is tight
When a meeting moves or a family trip changes on short notice, on demand charter lets you set the departure time. We take calls 24/7.
How a light jet trip runs
- 1
Your first call
Give us your route, dates, passenger count and bags. We ask about pets, WiFi and any must-make arrival time.
- 2
Your quote
We return an all-inclusive quote with the aircraft type, flight time and fees laid out. If a different class would serve you better, we say so and show both.
- 3
Booking and confirmation
Once you approve, we confirm the operator, crew and FBO, and send you the departure details and passenger information the crew needs.
- 4
Day of departure
Arrive at the FBO about 15 to 30 minutes before departure. There is no terminal line; the crew loads your bags and you board. Your contact tracks the flight and handles any change on either end.

What moves the price of a light jet charter
Light jets cost less per hour than larger jets because they burn less fuel and need smaller crews, but the hourly rate is only part of the total. Your quote reflects these factors so the number you approve is the number you pay.
- Flight time and positioning
- You pay for time in the air, plus any time the aircraft spends flying to your departure airport if it is based elsewhere.
- One way or round trip
- With point to point pricing, a one-way leg is quoted alone. A same-day return can cost less overall than two separate one-way trips because the aircraft waits instead of repositioning.
- Overnights and wait time
- Multi-day trips can add crew lodging and daily fees. We list these up front instead of adding them later.
- Taxes, airport fees and season
- Federal excise tax, segment fees and FBO ramp or landing fees are built into the quote. Winter departures in Indiana may add de-icing, which depends on conditions that morning.
Questions about light jet charter
Something not covered here? (765) 544-5538
How much luggage can a light jet hold?
Not as much as most travelers assume. With every seat filled, a typical hold fits about one medium suitcase and one soft bag per person. Mention skis, golf clubs or oversize cases and we will check the hold dimensions before you book.
Does the jet have a restroom?
That varies by model. Certain light jets have an enclosed lavatory, and others have a simple seat behind a privacy curtain. If your group cares about it, we book a model with an enclosed lavatory.
What if the jet develops a mechanical problem?
The operator looks for a replacement aircraft so your trip can go on. Mechanical insurance covers up to 100% of replacement flight cost. Your contact takes care of the rebooking, so you aren't stuck making calls from the FBO lounge.
Can I depart from an airport near Martinsville?
Usually, yes. Plenty of regional runways suit light jets, and we check runway length, fuel and FBO hours at the field you'd like to use. If your load won't work there, we point you to the closest airport that fits.
How quickly can I get a flight?
Our phone is answered 24/7, and quick-turn trips happen often. How soon a jet is ready comes down to where the closest open aircraft and crew are, and we give you an honest answer on the first call.
